On a CK3B, when a Code 39 is scanned, an open parenthesis character is displayed at the start of the barcode. 

Resolution:

Remove the User Def Sym ID for both the Code 128 and Code 129 symbology

1. Click 'Start'>'Settings'>'System'>'Intermec Settings'.

2. Open 'Data Collection'>'Internal Scanner'>'Symbologies'.

3. Open 'Code 39 'Options'.

4. Remove the value in the 'User Def Sym ID' field.

5. Open 'Code 128'> 'Options'. 

6. Remove the value in the 'User Def Sym ID' field.
